The recruitment for the internship programme started traditionally with participation in the Engineering Job Fair which was organised in Cracow in the spring. As every year, our stand enjoyed significant interest of students. Offers pertaining to internship recruitment were also distributed in career offices of leading universities in Cracow, Katowice, Gliwice, as well as Łódź.
A portion of statistical data about the job fair is provided below:
– we were one of 51 companies with stands during the fair;
– approx. 10,000 students visited the fair venue during one day;
– most students who visited the fair were AGH University of Science and Technology students and students of the Cracow University of Technology;
– students who visited our stand were mainly students of management and production engineering, mechanics and machine construction, automation and robotics, as well as chemistry.
This year, we would like to make the students interested in internship in the following areas: traffic maintenance, production, research and development, logistics, OHS and HR.
At the beginning of July, six interns started their adventure with our company in all of the above-listed areas. These are students of the Silesian University of Technology, Cracow University of Technology, Częstochowa University of Technology and AGH University of Science and Technology.
We hope that this will be an opportunity for acquiring interesting experience, combining theory from their studies with practice. We put greatest emphasis on the practical aspects. Interns are entrusted with tasks, they participate in current projects that are pursued in individual divisions. On the first day of the internship, all of them participated in a trip through production divisions.
The internship programme ends in September; at that time, we will also ask the participants to provide us with feedback about the programme offered by our company.
